In a November 6, 2015, game against the Philadelphia 76ers, James became only the 20th player in NBA history to reach the milestone of 9,000 career field goals. This distinction is currently shared by only four other active NBA players: Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, and Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks.
James reached the 9,000-basket milestone with a dunk in the first half. He also has improved his three-point shot statistics over last season’s playoffs when his percentage was only at 23. He made three three-point shots in the same game against the Philadelphia 76ers, successfully executing four of his last seven three-point shots overall.
